Mulalo Muluvhahothe is a third-year PhD student in the department of Zoology, University of Venda. Her doctoral research explores thermal biology of the South African macadamia industry major pest (two-spotted stink bug) aiming to bridge the gap between the current knowledge and stink bug management in the macadamia orchards. She completed her honours and master’s degree (CUM LAUDE) in zoology at the University of Venda. She received two awards during honours as a best presenter during zoology colloquium. Her work experience spans insect rearing, long-term monitoring studies and undergraduate laboratory practical over the past 6 years.
